Sharon “Sherry” (Egloff) Chynoweth, 86, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on January 8, 2026, after a full and meaningful life and a courageous battle with aphasia, a disease that gradually took away her ability to communicate.

Sherry was born on March 30, 1939, in Plymouth, Michigan, to Lenna and Russell Egloff. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1957 and married her high school sweetheart, Bert Chynoweth, just one week later. Together, they shared 65 …
