Sharon's obituary

Sharon Yvonne Bond passed away Sunday, January 7th at St. Marys hospital in St. Louis.

She was born on September 5th, 1951 to James and Elaine Darr in St. Louis. She graduated Afton High School in 1969. She started work right away for St. Joseph’s Hospital as a “unit secretary” before transferring to Missouri Baptist Hospital as an “admissions receptionist” then was hired to be office manger for pediatrician Dr. Baer. Sharon retired after working as a billing and coding director for the Ear Nose and Throat team of Dr. Burk- Dr. D’Angelo & Dr. Barnes: serving and helping patients for over 40 total years.

She is survived by her 3 children - Jason, Jared & Beth. Her younger brother Doug Darr and his wife Teresa. Her step sister Brenda Beier and step brother Kieth Beier along with being a step daughter to Mary Darr. She was a sister in law to Glen Jr...his wife Pat and younger brother Tom along with his wife Felicia. She was also an amazing loving grandmother to Lilly, Jaxson, Mallory, Peyton, Rylie and Ashlyn as well as being an aunt and great aunt.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father James Darr, her mother Elaine Darr, her husband James Bond, her father in law Glen Sr. Bond, mother in law Zelmar Bond and brother in law Richard Bond.

Memorial Celebration will be held Saturday, January 27th at 2pm in the Community of Christ Church located at 830 North Kirkwood Rd. Kirkwood MO 63122.

Please in lieu of flowers make your donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where Sharon was a proud Partner in Hope for the last 14 years.
