Oh Sharon. I looked for a photo of you, of us today.

While I didn't find a photo,  my mind's eye holds memories more than sight.   Being with you was always filled with laughter and joy, kindness, compassion, connection of souls, excellent food and some of the best wine I have ever had.

Times at your house with Harry and Red before cell phones and before I carried a camera. I have no photos of that. Your smile always lit a room.

I remember driving to the beach in my yellow VW convertible with the top down, radio blaring and agreeing we'd never take photos of each other in bathing suits or with convertible hair.    So... there are no photos of those times.

We didn't take photos at work, no time, no camera phones, hardly seemed important. But I remember going to many a lunch and even when I began to develop something that caused me to cry through most of the lunch,  you'd still go to lunch with me.... even with everyone looking at you like you were the cause. You never were. When I found it was a migraine variant, you said you should have known. But, even not knowing, you were so very kind, compassionate and always steadfastly there for me. I hope I was there for you.

No photos of you bringing me a huge boss bottle of soda when I was too sick to even get off the sofa.

No photos of you when we stayed in Duck with Justin, Shelly and Tucker. Dan says Tucker would sit with Justin, protect him and make sure someone was on it if he made any sound.

No photos of our messages on Facebook, or telephone conversations, but I remember how glad my heart was at any connection. I will miss you, my friend. Your grace, humor and beauty not just physical, but so ingrained in everything you said and did will not just be a deficit in my life, but in the world's vibe. I loved you, I love you still.  I hope to meet again one day;   I will not need a photograph to recognize you.  <3 My condolences go especially to Justin, but also to all who knew you.

She hired me in 2017 and gave me tough love when I needed it AND also gave me encouragement and good laughs.  She always said “I make the best steak” and she did.  This night we ate and laughed.  Grateful we got to do this a couples of times after this photo.  I will miss her and she will never be forgotten.

I have lost my friend. And words do not come easily. Though absent from my life these past many years, she was always my friend. She made me laugh; she made me think; she made me whole. Her smile, oh, her smile, lightened any moment, eased any path, calmed any temper. We had many times together, at work and at play, happy, funny, delinquent. She supported me though I didn't deserve it and she helped when I desperately was in need. I am sad today for I have lost a part of me. I will miss her. I will remember her. But today I will cry.

My wife and I met Sharon while her son worked with us at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes and also got to chat with her for awhile on our honeymoon in Jamaica at the Ritz.  She was the nicest person you would ever meet. Justin you and your family are in our prayers.

Though I have not seen Sharon for years, we go waaay back. She worked at Busch gardens with me for many years, rising from the Finance Dept. to a managerial position in the park. During this time we also played softball together and had many, many wonderful times getting together with our families and friends. Sharon was one of those rare combinations - smart, athletic and beautiful. Her greatest love in her life was Justin, who held her heart always. I shall never forget that beautiful smile and her laugh. Wishing Justin and his family thoughts of comfort and wonderful memories of this grand lady. Hugs.

I know that heaven has a brand new Angel this day.

Sharon was an amazing woman, loving mother and cherished friend. I treasure the the memories of our time together and all the humor and fun we shared through the years.   Although we are apart, her spirit lives within me and forever in my heart.

She will be forever in our hearts. Rest in peace, sweet angel.  We love you.

Karen and Sharon… sisters from different misters. This was not actually true but that explained our relationship.
Sending love and prayers of peace to Justin and her family. Sharon and I had a close relationship and talked a lot about our faith. I’ll see you in Heaven, Sharon♥️
