Sharlene's obituary

SHARLENE MARIE HORNER HOWARD, 74, died on October 10, 2024, at home under the watchful eye of her son, Robert and her loyal companion, Bally. 

She was born on January 17, 1950 in Wheeling, WV;  Daughter of the late Robert William and Dolores Rothacher Horner.

Sharlene retired from the Lawndale School District after many years of service, and had been involved with the Boy Scouts. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul, Sr.; her daughter Holly Ann Matusik; step-daughter, Lisa and Sharlene's sister,Judith Horner Ferrel. 

She is survived by her daughter, Dolores (Dori) Marie Carley (Charlie); son, Robert Howard, and step-sons, Paul and Ron Howard, as well as her faithful companion, Bally. she had many grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special/faithful friends in California, Ohio, and North Carolina. She is survived to cherish her memory by siblings, Louise Matusik (OH); Phylis (Donald) Grubb (PA); Richard (Joy) Horner (OH); and Robyn (Michael) Shaheen (OH).
