I was saddened when I heard the news of Booda's passing.

Though you had to let go of this world to find peace, we hold on to your memory in our hearts, so you live forever.

I had the pleasure of having Shaonn as a student in 12th grade. I am saddened by the loss of life for this young soul and I send my condolences to the family of Shaonn. I will cherish the conversations held by Shaonn and I in class and virtually. I will cherish seeing his mood changing smile and the moments of laughter we had together. This blessed child was such a blessing, kind soul, and caring individual and I pray that his memories live on to those who loved him the most. I will forever be grateful that Shaonn shared some of the moments, memories, and personal accounts about his life that year. I am honored that I was picked by God to serve as a safe space for this loved child, create a welcoming environment, and assist in seeing him reach a his potential while extending love and acceptance. May the Lord continue to keep this family as they heal and continue to live as Shaonn would have wanted. Shay please know that your brother made it very clear how much he loved you when I shared pictures of you in high school on my wall of love. Many prayers and peace to the family during this time. God Bless your family.

My condolences go to the grieving family. I’m so sorry for the lost of Shaonn. He was the funniest person I knew and he slayed his clothing! Always looked the baddest of the group. We will forever miss shay 💙🙏🏻 rest easy.
