Shannon Bruce Vieth passed away peacefully at home in the early morning of March, 26, 2021. He was 74 years old. Shannon was a loving father and grandfather, a proud combat veteran for the U.S. Navy and served his community for 28 years as a Santa Clara Sheriff’s Deputy. Shannon spent most of his retirement enjoying the things he loved most. Writing, photography, golfing, being out in nature and enjoying his friends; especially his best friends and second family Cindy Fowler and Carla Tortorella. He was a military history buff and avid reader who loved to share his knowledge. Shannon spent the last 5 years being well cared for with love by Mary Vieth. He is survived by his three children, Albert Vieth, Jason Vieth, Jayme Vieth-Weber and three grandkids Skyler Vieth, Atreyu Weber, Alice Weber.
