Shannon (Shay) Lynn Nation, 17, passed away on Saturday March 12, 2022. Shannon was a daughter, sister, friend, and a believer of Christ. She was a person well known for her smile. You always caught Shay smiling. She always had a pure heart. When Shay would meet anyone she would talk with them and got to know them with love, smiles, and hugs. Shannon didn’t want a memorial service. We appreciate all the encouragement, love, and prayers. We are honoring her last wish and donating her body to science. She would run up to strangers and random people starting at age 5 and tell them “When I am dead and gone I’m still going to be helping people because I’m being donated to science”
