Happy Birthday Shannon! I wish I could say that to you in person or by phone. You were always SO good at remembering everyone's birthday. I had an old memory pop into my head the other day. Some summer when we were in college and all back in Jacksonville, you gave my family a kitten! This may be before sophomore year, which would have been your freshman year...cancer sucks. We were all hanging out at your mom's place all summer (Stacy Rutledge's grandmas house). Any way, Milo was a beautiful Siamese cat. He lived to be over 20 years old and died not too long ago. He was very well loved. I miss you dear friend!

Hello, my name is Raquel. Ive just come upon stephens eulogy for shannon via web in attempt to prepare to write one myself. I have been consumed by shannons story. I work graveyard at an animal hospital over here in california and most of my night has been reading about your beautiful sister, daughter, and friend.
the last 3 paragraphs hit home for me and made me sit here and really digest what shannon must have been going through mentally. In another life, if I knew of her sooner I would of absolutly been a support or a friend or anything to help at the end. mental health is strong and scary. Stephen your words gave me peace and hope. Even though we have never met and never will meet, know that a piece of my heart and mind will forever remember this night getting to know Shannon and I hope your family has obtained some level of peace over the past 2 years. stay safe over and god bless.

To the McMasters Family- We are so very sorry for your loss. Shannon was spectacular in so many ways and to so many people. She was one of my dearest friends growing up. We went to elementary, middle, and high school together. Her beautiful smile is truly unforgettable. She was beautiful, brilliant, had a contagious laugh, and was one heck of a dancer. Her sweetness and kindness are forever etched in my heart. Along with so many others, I'm grateful to have known her.
In sympathy,
Bryan and Stacy Green
