We left school in Richmond aiming at Santa Fe but landed in Taos with fortune. Shannon was Fire! From a glamorous shimmer to a blaze that filled a glass, took the room and danced with the night. Such a brilliant heart to beat with. Love You!

My husband and I bought a condo in New Orleans in early 2022 and we had Shannon fly into work her magic on the walls. We are here now for Mardi Gras weekend and I am feeling very sad looking at her beautiful work here but love that it will remind us of one of our favorite times she spent with us!

Your heart, soul, love, and compassion set you so far apart from anyone else in this world. I’m so torn that you gone. The memories I shared with you will follow me for the rest of my life : the shrimp salads, the Shannon margs, the backyard sunshine, the laughs, the decorating, and the absolute love I felt every time I walked into your house. I could go on for a lifetime describing how much I love you and cherish you as human, but I will never be able to put in words what a great genuine person you are! Shan Shan I can hear you laugh from every picture I have and when you got excited about everything you were compassionate about. I know you are running on the beach with the love of your life and soaking up every sunset in heaven! My friend I love you and have always missed you. Be at peace my amazing, sweet, funny as shit friend and never stop laughing!!
Love,
Nicole

Every time I walk into our bedroom and bath in Baton Rouge and every time I walk into our little condo in New Orleans I think of Shannon because she worked her magic on the walls. I so loved that sweet, sweet woman and am so so saddened that she is gone. I have to believe that heaven is heavenly for our dear friend.

Shannon was one of the most giving, caring, loving persons anyone could have ever have had the honor to meet & say they were friends.
Sorry I did not get the chance to squeeze you one last time but will hold you close to my heart until we meet again ❤️

This picture was taken the night before Shannon’s hair caught on fire in Chicago. 😂 Story goes… after a long day of selling and schmoozing at a pre Christmas gift show we went out for dinner. Shannon leaned back in the booth and happy to be off our feet. Little tea candles were lit on this back ledge of the booth and her hair went up in flames. From across the table Joanne said “your hair is on fire!” She dove into my lap and we whacked at her head to quickly put out the fire
We laughed about that all the time. And so many other fun crazy things we did.
I miss you Shannon ☀️

I do not have any pictures to share, but when I close my eyes, I can hear Shannon‘s loving and passionate voice calling out to the dogs or to me or to my daughter or any of the things and people she loved so fiercely. There are no words for how immense this loss is to our world. Shannon was one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. Others are correct, she would indeed take her shirt off her back for you. She showered everyone with sunshine and such authentic heart love. I respected her and loved her dearly. Shannon, the amount of gratitude I will forever hold in my heart for who you were as a person and how you moved through the world with such grace and love is unmeasurable. I love you, Shannon.
