Shannon Ray Chewning 51 of Roseville, IL. Born and raised proudly in Cameron, IL. Passed away peacefully on January 27th, 2025 at 4:38 pm. Surrounded by his family at OSF hospital in Peoria, IL.

Shannon was born May 23, 1973 and grew up in Cameron active in sports, and spending time with friends. He graduated from Warren high school in 1991.

Shannon enjoyed many hobbies, but he loved sports, music and cooking the most. He would give the shirt off his back for someone who needed it. Crack a joke at a time you couldn't need it more. But most importantly was a friend to all.

His is survived by his wife Sarah Chewning of Roseville IL, two daughters Isabella Chewning of Roseville IL, Kaylie Harter-Miller (Dean Miller) of Oquawka IL. One bonus Daughter Kaitlynn Whitehall-Miller (Jay Miller) Midland MI. One bonus Son Josh Ash of Muscatine, IA. One brother Mason Chewning of Cameron IL, and his Father John Baughman of Cameron IL. Along with many other family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his beloved mother Diane Baughman, his biological father, grandparents. And many other aunts, uncles, and family.

At this time a celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
