I'm in Pennsylvania and was very touched when I read about Seuk's story. I foster dogs and love rescue animals. There are so many loving pets that are killed needlessly while society stands by. Seuk did not stand by. He used his talents to help where he could. I wish more people in the world were like that. People like him who give of themselves joyfully and generously are what keeps civilization glued together. It seems his story is reaching around the world and inspiring others. I hope where ever his soul is now, he can feel the outpouring of love. I also hope that your family can find peace and comfort knowing his efforts made a difference. I didn’t know this man personally, but I’m so saddened that he passed away doing such an unselfish act of kindness. I’ve read that he transported so many dogs to safety that would otherwise be euthanized. Thompson River Animal Care Shelter

We, at Thompson River Animal Care Shelter in Montana, were deeply saddened to hear about the recent crash and loss of Seuk Kim along with one of the rescue dogs. We’d like to extend our heartfelt condolences to his family.

We’re not sure whether Seuk Kim has ever flown rescue cats and dogs to our shelter, but we do know that every single rescue pilot is a hero. Unfortunately, there is a risk that goes along with the dedication and compassion for saving and transporting animals. Seuk Kim truly fulfilled his mission. Please know that we have you and the recovering dogs in our thoughts during this difficult time.
