Seth's obituary
For all those who knew Seth, he was an easy going, super friendly guy. If you met him once, you were probably friends. He was an amazing cook, artist, surfer, skateboarder, snowboarder…really anything he put his mind to, he was great at. He was my older Brother so of course I adored him and thought he was the coolest guy when I was growing up…and of course he thought the world of me too. He would always call me sweetheart or say “Hi sweet sister” and it was one of the last things he said to me in the hospital.
How do you sum up a life in just a few sentences? You can’t. But I did get to have 42 years with him and for that I am grateful. I know it’s said a lot after a life is cut too short, but our time earth-side is so very precious. So, take the trip, shred the mountains, surf the wave, hug and laugh more, spend time with the people that you love to be around and above all, listen to your body and when it’s alerting you of something, I beg you, do not ignore it.
Thank you to all who have been at our sides during this beyond difficult time. I know I feel lifted in all the prayers that were and continue to be sent our way. Thank you as well to the team at AdventHealth Winter Park who took such loving care of Seth during his last 3 months, and especially in his last few weeks. We are forever grateful.
