Seth's obituary

Seth Aaron Jasovsky, 44, passed away on November 25, 2017 after a short battle with an aggressive cancer.
Born in Athens Ohio, he was the son of Paul and Sonja Jasovsky
of Albany Ohio. Seth was a graduate of Mount Vernon Academy of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
He earned a BA in political science at Ohio University.
After graduation Seth lived in Miami, Florida;Columbus, Ohio, and then Washington DC. His work life was that of solving problems and bringing people together.
He was an Account Manager at Allied Universal in Washington DC,
where he resided for the last 15 years.
Seth was known for his warm smile, and boisterous laugh. People would recognize his laugh when they heard it. He was no respecter of persons and appreciated all different people and loved the diversity that he found living in Washington DC. He was passionate about his family and enjoyed traveling with them whenever possible. They're able to enjoy family trips to France, Italy, Turkey, Costa Rico and Mexico and he often joined the family in Florida for a beach vacation. Travel truly was a passion for Seth and this past year he got to travel to Africa and did a sailing trip in Greece. He loved meeting new people from around the world and hearing their stories and making new friends. and trying different culinary delights.
He loved the arts and different cultures, as well as good food and of
course his dog Muppet.
He is survived by his brother Eric Jasovsky and niece Kate Jasovsky.
He was predeceased by his sister Laura Rodriguez who passed away
April 25 of this year.

There will be a memorial service in Washington DC on Sunday December 10,
at the Josephine Butler Parks Center, 2437 15th St NW.
Doors open at 11:00 AM with music and informal greeting. A conducted
service will begin at 11:30. There will be opportunity for people to pay
tribute and or share stories. At 12:30 or 1:00, we will have some finger
foods and time to mingle until 3:00. Please come out even if you can just drop
in for part of the time.

In the spring of 2018 we will have a memorial service locally, after which
we will return to our home and plant 2 trees, one for Seth, one for his sister Laura.
Their ashes will be planted with their tree. Details will be announced at a later date.
