Sergio Eduardo Perera, 82, of Arlington passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019. Sergio was born in Mexico City. He received degrees from UNAM and the Universidad Ibero-Americana in Mexico, Columbia University in New York and the University of Toronto. He served in various roles with 3M Corporation in Mexico, the Rio Grande Valley and Dallas/Ft. Worth. He was a parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church in Ft. Worth. He never lost his love of learning and sharing his knowledge with others. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. Sergio would tell you that his greatest joy in life was being with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a dedicated and loving husband and father and a great storyteller.

Sergio is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret, his four children, Susana and Sergio (of Mexico City), Joseph (Stacey), Frank (Julie) and his grandsons, Eduardo and Vincent.
