Sequoia Loudoun, aged 14, departed this life on September 15th, 2023, at Tennessee Children\'s Hospital. Born on January 24th, 2009, in Tennessee, to Aubrey and Michael Louden, Sequoia was a spark of light, a beacon of love and kindness, and an inspiration to those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sequoia was preceded in death by Susan Louden, whose memory she held dear. She leaves behind her parents, Aubrey and Michael Louden, and her sister, Kaylee Louden. She also leaves her best friends, Hayden Lantz and Neytiri Taylor, who will forever remember her vibrant spirit and unwavering friendship.
An artistically gifted and academically driven student, Sequoia was a passionate band member, an avid artist, and a talented writer. She invested her energy into creating, expressing, and inspiring. Her contribution to the Rockwood High School newspapers was a testament to her commitment to her community and her love for writing. Sequoia was also a proud member of the Beta Club, displaying her dedication to academic excellence and personal growth.
In her short but meaningful life, Sequoia touched the hearts of many with her kind, loving, and caring nature.
