Segal Hunt Jones, 62 passed away in his Midway, Fl. home July of 2021. Segal was a decorated veteran and spent years in active duty . Segal was born on 8/15/1958 in Miami, Florida to his parents Joseph Hunt & Jessie Rembert Hunt. Segal was later adopted by Mr. Ernest & Mrs. Gertrude  Jones.  When he was just 22, Segal decided he wanted to join the army and was stationed in Germany. Segal traveled the world and spent time abroad. During his time traveling the world he met a host of friends but never married.  Segal resided in Orlando, Florida and then moved to Midway, Florida where he enjoyed his last days taking care of his home. Segal had a passion for giving back to his fellow veterans and volunteered with VA Affairs. Segal visited friends and family often where he shared unconditional love.

 Segal Jones was predeceased by parents Jessie and Joseph Hunt Sr., / Gertrude and Ernest Jones, brothers Joseph Hunt Jr., Rembert Lee Hunt, Gilbert Hunt Jones, Jackie Hunt Jones, and Rocko Hunt Jones. Aunts Ethal Bristband, Lillie Bell Capers, Dorothy Litmon and  Margret Walker. He is survived by sisters Jacquiline Harrell (Charles), Joyce Barrett (Trevor), and Ola Jones. Brothers Daniel Hunt, Ezekiel Hunt, and Jessie Hunt Jones. Aunts Catherine Loud (Jessie), Emma Williams and uncle Joseph Lee Rembert. Uncle Segal also left behind a host of nieces, nephews  & cousins whom he cared for and loved deeply. 

There will be a memorial with salute at South Florida National Cemetery , September 9th of 2021 @ 2:08pm.
