Sean M. Sarff, 57, of East Peoria, IL, passed away peacefully at OSF Hospital in Peoria, IL, on August 18, 2024, at 3:38 a.m., surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 22, 1967, in Peoria, IL, Sean was the beloved son of the late Stanley W. and Joan M. Sarff.

Sean is survived by his devoted wife, Angela Sarff of East Peoria, IL, and his cherished daughters: Sonia Greeson of East Peoria, Autum (Mark) Jones of Eureka, Shelby Greeson of Bartonville, and Aubrey Sarff of Peoria. He was a proud and loving grandfather to four grandchildren: Emma, Julia, Matthew, and Vivian, who will forever remember him as their playful and loving “Poppy.” Sean is also survived by his sister, Lori Curley of East Peoria, IL, and another sister residing in Florida.

Sean's warmth and humor were contagious, and his childlike spirit brought joy to all who knew him. He had a special bond with animals, leaving behind two cats and a dog who will miss their best buddy dearly.

Cremation rites will be accorded at a later date. In accordance with Sean’s wishes, there will be no visitation or formal funeral services. Instead, the family will gather privately to celebrate his life and the love he brought to all.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sean's memory to the OSF Healthcare Foundation or to Lamplight Donor Services.
