Sean's obituary
Sean Linderoth, son, brother, uncle and friend was our hero. He left us on Halloween, and somehow, it’s so fitting that he chose that day. Holidays and events were his favorite times—full of laughter, friends, and memories—and now, it’ll always have a bit of his magic.
Sean had a huge heart for animals, especially Golden Retrievers. Sean had many dogs in his life, but most recently Maverick Golden Bear, his beloved Golden best friend was with him through so much until Mavy got his wings in 2021. A few months later, Sean adopted his next best boy Ollie. The two of them were inseparable and Ollie loved his dad unconditionally. Sean and Maverick are now together again, and Ollie will carry on the warmth and love that Sean shared with everyone he met.
Living with neurofibromatosis came with its own set of challenges. But Sean wasn’t the type to let that slow him down. He faced every challenge head-on, always keeping his kindness and humor intact. He wanted to make a difference, hoping to help find a cure and support others dealing with NF.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to neurofibromatosis research in Sean’s honor at https://www.nfnetwork.org/con… and click the green DONATE button.
We’re coming together to celebrate Sean’s life on November 23, 2024, from 1 - 5 PM. We have chosen a beautiful barn on a private farm at 511 Ragsdale Terrace, and we'd love for you to join us. We’ll share memories, tell stories, laugh, cry, and just be there for each other, the way he would’ve wanted.
More than anything, Sean would want us to keep lifting each other up, facing life’s challenges together, and finding a reason to laugh whenever we can. Here’s to Sean—he may be gone, but his spirit lives on in all of us.
