Sean's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Sean Robert DeRitter of Cape Coral, Florida on December 3, 2024. Born on June 10, 1995, Sean left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to have known him. From his family and friends to the Gaming World of Discord to work, etc....

Sean's personality was a captivating mixture of humor, intelligence, resilience, and unwavering determination and hustle. Remembered as goofy, hilarious, and witty, he had the uncanny ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. His sharp mind and hustler mentality propelled him through life, allowing him to overcome many obstacles with admirable resilience.

Despite the challenges that he may have faced, Sean was a firm believer in being a "GIVER". "Be a giver in all situations, no matter what", was a maxim he lived by, and shared with those around him. His spirit of giving was infectious, inspiring others to embrace the same ethos.

Among his many accomplishments, Sean's proudest moment was welcoming his son, Xander, into the world. His love for his family said a lot about him and drove him to strive for greatness. Sean was a devoted father who instilled in his son the same grit and determination that characterized his own life and Xander is his spitting image in all ways. This, perhaps, is his greatest legacy: to never quit, to never give up, and to hustle even in the struggle for the sake of your family.

Survived by his wife Brooke Vandenorth, his mother Lisa DeRitter and her partner David Hritcu of Cape Coral, his aunt Amy DeRitter of Ocala, his grandparents Linda Roth Sherry and Richard Sherry of Ocala, Edward DeRitter and Brita DeRitter of California, his uncle Adam DeRitter and his wife Jennifer DeRitter, his Aunt Mara DeRitter-Toro and her husband Miguel Toro, his great uncle Gary DeRitter (whom he got his middle name from) and his aunt Laurel DeRitter, and his great uncle Ronald L Roth of NJ and not forgetting many cousins.  Sean's loss is deeply felt by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His unique charm and irrepressible spirit made him a favorite person to many of his friends and family. There will never be another like Sean. He is irreplaceable and will be missed terribly.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD JANUARY 4, 2025, AT 11296 ZEHNER LANE, FORT MYERS FL 33908 AT 1PM EST.
