Sean Cory Christopher Donahue, born December 12, 1990, unexpectedly left this earth and joined his precious daughter Autumn Grace between the evening hours of March 13th and early morning hours of March 14th 2019. Sean Cory leaves behind his beautiful daughter Charlotte and stepdaughter Gabby whom he truly loved as his own. Sean spent his childhood in Simsbury, CT raised by his mother, Heidi Donahue and causing her grays with his five siblings; Leo “PJ”, Sarah, Heather Marie Lee, Shyliesh “Shy Shy” and Heidi Marlene. Having several siblings naturally brings many nieces and nephews. Savannah, Jade, Austin, Machiavelli, Jewelyette, Jameson, Grayson and Alexsandria will miss having an incredible Uncle Sean. Growing up and into adulthood, Sean had a consistent passion for words. He was a poet, a philosopher, an author and a lyricist. He would live stream his readings and journal and write short stories as a very talented hobby. Sean’s mind worked unlike anyone most people would ever meet and it’s undeniable he had an uncanny ability to breath life and light into any situation. People were drawn to his energy. Although Sean battled several demons and had made several horrible decisions that directly and severely impacted his life, he would ensure that he stood tall, kept his head up, a big smile on his face, made eye contact and would be happy to give you the shirt of his back to anyone that might need it. In addition to Sean’s beautiful heart, he has an equally profound soul and spirit as well. In the end, his depression might have taken his life but he didn’t allow it from being able to find, see and appreciate the beauty in absolutely everything during his life. Sean found beauty and light in the darkest situations and he was able to help others see it too. I tell people that Sean would find beauty in a single blade of grass. If you were lucky enough to know Sean, you were lucky to have been loved by him as he truly did have the capacity to embrace all who were in his life. Recently, Sean had written, “…everyone is special but, not everyone sees that special part in himself. All they can see is that distinct part in others. Your brother hasn’t found that special part in himself yet.” If only he had a mirror. Rest in peace Sean Cory. You had so many special pieces you never found in yourself but everyone else sure did.
