I worked with Scott at Ingles in Elizabethton. He and my brother in law Jeff Gray have been life long friends for 50+years. I just saw Scott at my mom's funeral last June. Fly high Scott fly high my friend. You were an awesome person.
I miss you so much! I miss your smile, your laugh and seeing you after your work day. I don't know how I will go on without you. I Love You. Your Sissy

Scott Rupe. He gave me my first job at Ingles when I was 16. He had always been dear friends with my Dad, Ronnie. That friendship evolved over the years as he stayed close to my dad and worked along side him. Scott was like family to us. He always greeted me with, “what’s going on girl” always asked how we were getting along…

My favorite memory of Scott…was when our twins we had lost first birthday came around. He left a note on there head stone that read “Happy 1st Birthday love Uncle Scott”…he also helped my Dad plant rose bushes and a magnolia tree in there memory.

He was a true, genuine, good hearted soul. A friend that is hard to find. He will be so deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

My prayers and heart felt sorrow for Scott and all his family. I been in grocery business for 32 years and worked for alot and with alot of people. He was my favorite by fat. We went to Nascar races together, played golf together, and countless lunches and times spent having do much fun. Even been to my house and had dinner with me and my parents. My Dad and Mom thought he was amazing person as well.  Bless him and all his family in this difficult time. Fly high my brother!!
My condolences to all of the family. Scott was my first manager and one my favorites. He was an amazing man.  He will be missed.
