Scott was a major part of the Miscon Concom during some of the really tough, lean years. (Including the horrible weekend the convention was kicked out of the Holiday Inn) He helped fund it with personal money and a lot of volunteer time when it was almost gone. And when things were slow on Vendor Row he would come by at least once once every convention to buy a pile of stuff;  like he could make sure we made a profit all by himself. And he would stand and talk. He loved the NASA  and science related items. Sometimes we would order something in just to try to catch his eye. Quicksilver Fantasies sends its condolences to both his family and to all of the Missoula fan community.
