Scott (Scotty) Andrew Takahashi earned his angel wings on February 12, 2019, at Alberta's Children's Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Scotty is survived by his parents Yukiko Takahashi and Andrew Willison, and his guardian and grandmother Marie Ashton of Calgary. He is preceded in heaven by his grandmother Yuko Takahashi and his sister Akira Willison.

In lieu of flowers and other gifts of sympathy, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House. The funeral will be held as a private service for the family only in Calgary, Alberta on Friday, February 22, 2019.
