Ghais Scott Safadi, 41, of Felton, CA, died unexpectedly on October 17, 2022 in a vehicle fire. The family is deeply saddened by this accident and mourns his loss.

Scott was born on April 27th, 1981 to Riad Safadi and Hala Akkad in Damascus, Syria. He graduated from Los Gatos High School and earned a full scholarship to Dartmouth where he majored in philosophy and engineering.

Scott worked as a financial analyst at RBL Real Estate in San Francisco before founding his own property management company in the South Bay. He valued efficiency and leveraged the expertise of a small, trusted team to grow the company's portfolio.

Scott met Rachel Rogers while rafting the American River with mutual friends. They married in 2007 and went on to have two children, Sophia Rose and Leila Ann. The family enjoyed camping, trips to the snow, and time at the beach. Scott also loved playing disc golf.

Scott is predeceased by his grandmother Nadia and survived by many loving family and friends. Join us in celebrating the life of Scott at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 5th at Bachman Park, Los Gatos. The family is also collecting photos, stories, and condolences on Scott’s memorial website.
