Scott's obituary
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Scott attended St Matthew School and graduated from Carmel HS in 1984. He went on to graduate from Butler University and was a dedicated member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He was a devoted fan of his beloved Butler Bulldogs, Indianapolis Colts, and Chicago Cubs. A crossword puzzle ‘expert’ and zealous book reader, Scott always had a book to read or share, but not a chance he would share his crossword puzzles.
Survivors include his parents, John and Ellen Riddle, brothers Greg Riddle, Mike Riddle (Michelle), Tom Riddle (Barb), sister Lisa Lynch, nieces and nephews Patrick, Cooper, and Alex Riddle, Anna, Megan, and Jack Lynch, Tyler and Cassidy Riddle; lots of cousins, aunts and uncles; and his faithful dog Tinka.
Services are set for Saturday, December 14, 2019 with visitation from 9:00 am -11:00 am and a funeral service immediately following at St Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E. 56th Street, Indianapolis. All are invited to stay for a Celebration of Life luncheon in the school cafeteria.
Education, learning and reading were very important to Scott. In Lieu of flowers the family requests you consider a donation to one or more of the following worthy causes in memory of Scott A Riddle:
