How you can help

It is with deep sadness that my brother and I announce the passing of our father, Scott Plonsky. He passed away tragically on Saturday, September 5th, 2020. In light of the current circumstances, there will not be a viewing. We will make another announcement at a later date with details for a celebration of his life.

In lieu of flowers, we wish that donations go towards a memorial stone for our father at Forest Park. These stones are located at the foot of a beautiful waterfall beneath the World’s Fair Pavilion. Forest park was a very special place for our father, and we share many great memories with him there.

We will use any excess donations to cover funeral costs and make a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in his memory.

Memorial events are private

The plan is to gather and share great memories of our dad with those that loved him most. We will share those additional details for the gathering at a later date.
