Scott's obituary
Throughout his life, Scott was known for his love of the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, and shooting guns. He was a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment. His hobbies were not just pastimes but also a way of connecting with his beloved grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, and Beau, whom he taught to cook and with whom he shared fishing adventures with.
Scott is survived by his long-term partner of 26 years, Jean Liseo of Vermillion, SD; daughter, Jennifer (Dustin) Maggio of Vermillion, SD; stepchildren Juliana (Larry) Bors of Laurel, NE and Matthew Liseo of Vermillion, SD; sister, Kim (Tom) Hackett of Dover, NH; brother, David (Laurie) Hollander of Las Vegas, NV; cousins Ann Marie (Jerry) Cottini of Central Point, OR and Justine Weldon of Vacaville, CA; aunts, Mary (Donald) Krolak of Eagle Point, OR and Cathy Thompson of Yamhill, OR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cynthia and Wilfred Morrison; grandparents, Althea and Rodney Demars; and an uncle.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church in Vermillion, SD at 11 am. Reception to follow. The George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls, SD, is assisting the family with arrangements.
