It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Scott "Chainsaw Scotty" McAllister on June 3, 2024. Born on December 29, 1963, Scott became an iconic figure in his community and touched countless lives with his talents and warmth.
Known to many as Chainsaw Scotty, he preferred the simplicity of Scott. A man of many talents, he was not just a father and friend, but also a master chainsaw artist whose exquisite work transformed ordinary blocks of wood into extraordinary sculptures. His unique talent earned him enduring admiration and cemented his place as a local celebrity.
Scott was much more than his achievements. Beneath his larger-than-life persona lay a warm heart. Known for his loving and fun nature, Scott was always the life of the party. His generosity knew no bounds, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand or share his good fortune - he was truly a lucky man in every sense.
His greatest pride and joy in life was his three children with Tanya McAllister, Patricia McAllister, Sammi McAllister, and Scotty McAllister. They were not just his beloved children, but also his biggest admirers and supporters. His legacy will continue to live on through his family, his works of art, and the countless lives he touched.
Scott's untimely departure leaves a void that can never be filled. His vibrant spirit and infectious enthusiasm will be dearly missed by his daughter, Patricia, son, Scotty, girlfriend Gerry, former wife, Tanya, dogs, Woody and Tinky, 3 brothers, sister, many nieces, nephews, cousins and all those who had the privilege to know and love him. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived and thank him for the beautiful memories he left us with.
