Scott's obituary
Scott Joseph Masclee, 61, passed away on April 29, 2025, in Tampa, FL.
Scott was born in Rochester, NY and grew up in Palmyra, NY. He resided in Tampa, FL for over two decades. No matter where he lived, he brought his warmth and unforgettable presence with him.
Scott was a man who lived life fully and on his own terms. He had a lifetime love for motorcycles, especially his Harley. There was a spirit of freedom and peace he found on the open road.
He was also a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan—a true and loyal supporter through thick and thin. Winning or losing, Scott was cheering them on, proudly wearing the red, white, and blue.
Beyond the bikes and the Bills, what defined Scott most was his heart. He was kind, genuine, and always ready with a smile and a laugh. He had that rare ability to make everyone feel welcome—whether you were family, friend, or stranger, Scott made you feel like you belonged.
He was a protector by nature, especially with his sisters. He loved his family fiercely and that love was loud, loyal, and unwavering.
His passing leaves an empty space in our hearts, one that words alone can’t fill. But we find comfort in the memories—the laughter, stories, beach escapades, motorcycle adventures, and the way he lived with strength and authenticity.
Scott, thank you—for your love, your friendship, your fire. You were our brother, our uncle, our friend, and our protector. And though you’re no longer riding beside us, we know you’re out there somewhere, wind in your hair, riding free.
We will miss you forever. We will love you always.
Scott is survived by his sisters, Vicky (Paul) Nardelli and Kristina Pieters; his Aunt, Theresa Marchbanks; nephews and nieces, Joseph (Caitlin) Pieters, Alyssa, Gennaro, and Anna Nardelli; great-niece and great-nephews; Allison, Wyatt P., Wyatt O., and Westyn. Scott is predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph and Viola Nichols and also leaves behind cherished friends and family.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Per his wishes, Scott has been cremated, and a private celebration of life will be held by his family.
