Scott Thomas Fanning was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on September 7, 1963. He spent much of his life in Metairie, where he created countless memories with friends and family. Scott passed away on April 10, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished relationships.

Scott is survived by his devoted spouse, Angela Fanning, and his endeared children, Rachel and Scott Fanning. He was also a cherished grandfather to his grandson, Roman Kaizer.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Fanning, whose memory will forever be held close by all who knew and loved her. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Louis Anthony Fanning, Sr., and Anna Rita Rolland Fanning.

Scott will also be remembered by his six sisters: Patricia Starkey, Lori Tozel and her husband Doug, Vicki McLean, Karen Fourcade and her husband Richie, Georgia Marnell and her husband Mike, and Dawn Rouzano. He also leaves behind his two brothers, Louis Fanning, Jr., and his wife Lisa, and Glen Fanning.

His loss is profoundly felt in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his belief and love for God continue to inspire us all until that last trumpet sound, 1 Thess. 4: 13-18! May God keep us!
