Scott's obituary
Scott was born on September 21, 1978, in Joshua, Texas. He faced battles many could not see, and though the weight was heavy, his life was more than his struggles.
Scott was predeceased by his father, Gary Trent Duff; his mother, Deborah Hanuschak; and his grandparents, Warren H. Duff, Elsie Barnhill, Alex Hanuschak, and Dorothy Faye Allen.
He is survived by his siblings, Stephanie James and Cody Gookins, as well as many nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.
In a world that did not always make space for his pain, may he now rest in peace.
