Scott's obituary
Scott Braun, 65, of Rogers, MN passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 26, 2022, from a sudden heart attack.
Scott was born on June 7, 1957, in Stanley, WI to Allan and Patricia Braun. The family then moved to Brooklyn Park, MN, where Scott grew up with his older sister Sue and younger brother Brooks.
Scott graduated from Osseo High School in 1976. Soon after he began what would become a successful 40-year career in painting. Scott married the love of his life, Dorothy, in 1985 and the following year they welcomed their son Jasen into the world. Scott and Dorothy owned and operated Braun’s Painting and the Corner Bar in St. Michael for 27 years.
Scott was predeceased by his parents Allan and Patricia Braun. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Dorothy Braun, son Jasen (Dasha) Braun, sister Sue (Floyd) Anderson, brother Brooks (Barb) Braun, as well as countless extended family members, loved ones and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Throughout his entire life Scott has always helped others. His final wishes were to do just that through the donation of his body to the U of M anatomy bequest program to help in advancing medical care and research.
