Scott's obituary

Scott Matthew Boyte, 39, of Spring Hill, TN, passed away on September 2, 2022. Scott will always be remembered for persevering during difficult times. Unfortunately, this time the pain was overwhelming, and Scott took his life.

Scott was born on June 16, 1983 to Wayne and Sandra Boyte in Williamsburg, VA, while his parents were stationed at Yorktown Naval Weapons Station. Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Patricia Boyte, and his maternal grandparents, Paul and Christine Burch. He is survived by his wife, Katie Boyte, parents, Sandra and Wayne Boyte, daughters, Aryanna and Alaya Boyte, stepson, Myrick Clark, brother, John (Alice) Boyte and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Scott was loved by so many. His generous spirit and kind heart left an impression on the lives of many people that he encountered. He was outgoing and went out of his way to encourage the people he encountered. He had a passion for sharing his musical talents with his church family and serving his community through the volunteer fire department.

Visitation will be held at Church of the City (4910 Main Street) in Spring Hill, TN on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow. The family requests that you dress casually and, if possible, wear teal and/or purple in support of suicide awareness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention @ supporting.afsp.org.
