It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Scott Lee Boroviak, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 73. Scott was born on January 26, 1950, and throughout his life, he was known for his love of the outdoors, his sense of humor, and his love for cooking for his family.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister.

Scott is survived by his wife, Debbie Boroviak, his nieces, his 6 siblings, and many more from his beloved family (children and grandchildren). He cherished his time with his family and had a love for cooking for others when he came over. His granddaughter (Jordan) often remembers coming over, and every time Scott had heard that she was coming over, he would run to the store and grab a rack of ribs, her favorite! She shares that she remembers playing barbies with him when she was little, and he would even let her wrestle with him, his favorite wild child! We would come home to his hair ruffled up and a smile on his face. He also cherished his memories with Debbie going to different rivers and fishing trips, often staying in cozy lodges and tent camping.

Scott had a profound love for deep sea fishing as well. Any time he had the chance to go near an ocean, you always knew where you could find him! Many members of his family, specifically his brother, can remember him for his fascination with all things outdoors and fishing. His brother (Henry) recalls Scott always dragging him on outdoor excursions and teaching him how to fly fish from a young age. This was something they later on bonded over.

Scott's quick wit, humor, and positive attitude will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Please keep the Boroviak family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

A ceremony of life with be held at a later date.
