Scott's obituary
Scott graduated from Edison Senior High School in 1961 before earning his BS in civil engineering from Purdue University in 1966. He went on to study at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. There he met Cheryl (Staley) Miller on a blind date. They were married on July 26, 1969. Scott and Cheryl were blessed with three sons.
Scott worked in the construction industry, mainly doing commercial construction. He loved photography, woodworking, gardening, cooking, fishing, trains, and traveling. Most of all, his faith in Jesus was very important to him, and he was very involved with his church family.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl; sons, Trent (Jessica), Collin, and Brandon (Rachel); three grandchildren, Charlotte, Finley, and Thaddeus; three siblings, Guy (Marcie), John, and Chris (Steve) Haddad; and many nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his parents; Arthur and Velma (Schwenk) Miller.
