Sadly, i havn't seen Ginger, or her sisters in years. but there was time, seems like yesterday, when this family of formidable and beautiful women where in and around my working life. Each brought something new and special to their relationships and i always enjoyed spending time with them. I wish the family all my best.

I was saddened to hear of Ginger’s passing. I met her when my daughter Courtney and Virginia were in first grade.

She always had a big smile on her face and so kind. She and Butch were always around SOS.

They raised wonderful daughters who are testaments to their parents kindness.

Ginger was an iconic figure during my childhood…She and Butch were the “cool parents” - always laughing and having fun, with huge, welcoming hearts. I remember my first time meeting Summer’s parents. Ginger was full of spirit and opinions - aka just like her daughter Summer!!! I respected Ginger because she called it like she saw it, which is also what i respect in my best friend Summer. Ginger shared with me her love of God and we talked about the Catholic church. She told me to “make sure any man treats you RIGHT! And GOOD!”. She was a hoot. Thank you Ginger for raising those 4 beautiful girls, one that I have the pleasure of calling a dear friend. I’ll continue to always be there for her, especially now that you are gone. We shall share a cheers soon in your honor. Hope you are enjoying your reunion in heaven with your husband.

Ginger… my daughters Godmother and my dear friend…life has a way of getting so busy and overwhelming at times that it prevents us from getting together with the ones we love the most. It saddens me so that the recent years were not filled with all the laughter and great times we all shared as a family. However, nothing can ever take away what is stored in one’s heart and memories. I will forever cherish all we shared in this crazy life and all your support. You were my rock. Your Goddaughter “your little butterfly” is amazing and strong like you.

You and Butch enriched our lives out here in Pungo and we always had a good time together. Your work here is done and I’m thankful I was along for part of the journey. Rest my sweet friend and we shall all meet up again one day.
