Sarah Ann Crawley Knepper, age 63, beloved wife of 37 years to Beverly W. Knepper, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at her home in Sumter, SC.

Mrs. Knepper was born March 27, 1942, in Montgomery, Ala., the daughter of the late Alfred A. and Annie Bell Rollins Crawley. She was a retired U.S. Air Force civil service employee.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, David A. Knepper and Donald H. Knepper of the home; one stepdaughter, Brenda Knepper of Long Beach, Calif.; three stepsons and their families, Steven Knepper and his wife, Shella, Brian Knepper and his wife, Connie, and Scott Knepper and his wife, Renee, all of Virginia; one sister, Patricia Hartman and her husband, Kenneth, of Springfield, Mo.; and five nephews and nieces and their families, Alfred Waller, Sarah Waller, Beverly Blunt, James Asbell, and Richard Asbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marianne Waller.

Services will be private.
