Sarah K. Melvin, 72, resident of Tyler, Texas peacefully passed away on the morning of March 4, 2026, following a courageous 14-year battle with breast cancer.

Sarah lived a rich, full life as a registered nurse, a military wife, homemaker and homeschooling mom to 3 girls. She was born on July 27, 1953 to Claude and Francelle Ledford. Her family roots are in Hot Springs, Arkansas and she attended the University of Arkansas, earning a …
