It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah Coffey on May 3, 2023. Born in 2011, Sarah left a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a brave and independent dog who overcame numerous obstacles in the first four years of her life.
In 2016, Sarah found her true calling when she was rescued. Her personality flourished and she became a true model of courage for our family. She showed love and dependency for her beloved adopted brother, Toby. Their undeniable bond and mutual dependence became the cornerstone of her life and legacy.
Sarah's love for life could be seen in her penchant for her favorite foods. Chicken was her absolute favorite, but she enjoyed eating in general, a passion that stemmed from her early years in a puppy mill. She was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, cheering them on with her unwavering support.
As someone who appreciated the beauty of life, Sarah loved spending time in nature. Her favorite local spots included walking along the beach and having lunch at either Sterling Tavern or Shaka Shack. These simple moments brought her immense joy and allowed her to truly appreciate the world around her.
Sarah's resilience and determination were shared with others and she taught us that "there is nothing you can't overcome." She was an inspiration and a shining example of how to face adversity head-on and emerge stronger. Sarah's life was a testament to her unyielding spirit and boundless love for those around her.
