Such a beautiful tribute to Jan. I worked with her at Blue Shield of California and found Jan to be a great mentor and friend. I’m so saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to her husband and family.

My heart is heavy learning of Jan's passing. She was a second mom to me during a very difficult time in my life. I loved her wit, her fierce loyalty to family, her honesty; ( brutally honest but tempered with  love ❤️ ), her smile and kindness.  Most of all I respected her determination to get through anything that was a barrier in her path. She taught me a lot about case management. She was my mentor and I credit much of my expertise in case management nursing to her. Jan was an amazing nurse and one of a kind friend. She loved her family very much and said as much whenever I heard from her. I'm thankful she had her loved ones by her side when she passed. 

I’m so sorry to hear that Jan has passed. I was friends with her son in high school and remember her as such a sweet and supportive mother to him. It is lovely to hear how much she enjoyed life since I last saw her 30 years ago.  It sounds like she was surrounded by love.  And I’m sure her kind heart will live on in her granddaughters and all those that knew and loved her.  

May Jan's loving family find God's peace.
