Sara was a friend of a mutual friend named Art. We would go over to Don Jose' in Riverside on Friday after work to have a few Margaritas and Botana Platters for fun and a few laughs. So Art asked me if it was okay for Sara to join us, "of course" I said, "the more the merrier". So Sara joined us and at that time I was dating another woman, who was not present, and after some drinks Sara mentioned we should get together again. I had to pass as to dating, but offered to be her friend and she could call if she ever needed help on her new to her house. Well a few weeks later Sara calls, I go over and fix her heater. and a few weeks later help in her overgrown yard. Funny how she was all alone as to that work as she had so many friends and family. I ended breaking up with the other woman I was dating as it was going no where in 2 years of dating. So I took a year off from dating, worked on my own house, and restoring another car, as well as getting myself in better physical shape. So No dating for a year, No calls to Sara or anyone as to a love connection. A year passes and Art and I are walking through the Riverside downtown farmers market and I happen to see Sara and her two "Viejas" Sylvia and Ester. So I stroll up to Sara, take a look into her two beautiful brown eyes and saw a white crucifix in each eye! I was astonished, looked again and saw Sara's beaming smile. Sara told me she had gotten engaged, I congratulated her, and shared to her that I had purposely stopped going our for the past year, as to love interests, So we went on our separate ways. A few weeks later Art asked again if Sara could join us at the "watering hole", "of course she can", I said. So here comes Sara, she sits down by my side and says to me "I'm not engaged anymore"......So I asked her to come over to my home for Dinner the next weekend, I met Sara at the door in my Tuxedo, I saw her eyes grow larger than ever before, and I took her hand and walked her over to the dinner table with candles lit, a single tall Red rose, and a bottle of wine, along with our food. We toasted our first dinner together that night and the next day, when Sara went back to her job at Kmart Distribution, she told her friends "I met my Prince Charming"........from that night forward we never parted ever again, until the Lord took her home to his Heavenly Kingdom.

Sara was always so very kind to all she ever came into contact with, willing and wanting to help strangers who were hungry by buying them food, or bringing them cloths to wear. Sharing with neighbors our food and deserts if they would wish to receive them, and they always did as they loved to see Sara's happy spirit and beaming smile. Even during her 8 years with battling Cancer, in the infusion ward, she would get up from just having poison to kill the cancer put into her body, and walk over to other cancer patients to give them some helpful advice to possibly give them comfort in their trials. Sara would go without to try to give to her family for their comfort too. I have never witnessed a move giving of herself woman in my life. God Blessed us all with sharing in her life and for her to call us friend.

Sara and I loved to play just as hard as we both worked, and we both worked very hard for many years. So some of the most fun we found together was going on 16 day cruises to Hawaii, we did this twice, once on our honeymoon, then again in 2014 and planned on going on a 28 day cruise a few years ago, yet cancer had a different plan. We were able to share 6 cruises altogether, to Alaska, and Mexico to name a few, along with all the travel in various ports, and all the dancing on the ship, and all the Lobsters!.... Sara ate 6 Lobster Tails throughout our first cruise, what a pleasure so see her beaming smile,.... so much fun, so many memories!.....I love you Sara, I always will, and Miss you Terribly each hour and each minute of every day...
