Sara Violet Carr was added to the family of Silas and Hettie Virginia Keith Carr July 29, 1930. In addition to her parents, she was welcomed by siblings Eliza Jean, John Henry, Nathaniel, Victoria, Julia Cornelia and Bernice. Later, Lucile, Katie and Helen came along.
They grew up in Kelly NC in Bladen County. Though having little materially, the family was rich in love and shared experiences and adventures. The family later moved to the …
