Sara's obituary

Today we celebrate the life of everyone's best friend, angel on earth and faithful servant of God. On Friday, July 11 2025 at 10:20 pm, Ms Sara Frances Bennett's earthly journey came to a peaceful end at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines Florida.

Sara was the third of four children born of John Wille Bennett Sr and Lucretia Dukes-Bennett on April 17th, 1951 in Millen Georgia. As a teenager she moved to Miami Florida. She graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1968. She married Charlie Lee Martin ____ and divorced____. She then married George Stirrup on ____ and later divorced on _____. Even though she did not have any birth children, she was the mother to many many nieces, nephews and family friends. She was also the loving and faithful church mother of Greater Berea Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor Toles. She worked for several hospitals for over 40 years in medical records and retired after. She is going to join her siblings John Bennett Jr (brother) and Mildred Hope Bennett (sister) and her parents in heavenly peace. She is survived by her sister Margaret Lucretia Taylor- Rolle (currently sick and shut-in), many many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
