Ms. Sandy Sanchez, 63, of Covina, CA, passed away on June 30, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Sandy, born on 1961 to Bertrand and Marlene Mills in Weirton, WV immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Sandy went on to graduate from Weirton High in 1979.

Sandy moved to California 1986 where she met Roche and were married in 1988 for over 36 years with three children, Daniel, Joshua, and Megan. Sandy was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, raising them to go on to accomplish great things. Family came first and was above all else to Sandy, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Sandy went on to pursue a degree in Psychology at University of La Verne. Sandy fell in love with child psychology, which she happily used during her time working with special needs students. She had an incredible capacity to love and care for children that needed it the most.

She is survived by her husband Roche Sanchez, her children Daniel, Joshua, and Megan. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Sandy’s name to the Los Angeles Animal Foundation or the Exceptional Children's Foundation. Services will take place in Azusa on August 16th.
