Sandy's obituary
Sandra Williamson, known affectionately as Sandy, was called home on April 19, 2024. Born December 22, 1965.
Sandy will be remembered for her radiant smile and her zest for life. She was someone who always made those around her feel cherished and valued.
Sandy was a creative spirit, always expressing herself through works of art crafted with her hands. Living an active lifestyle, she was constantly in search of her next adventure or project. Her passion for connecting with people shone through in her ability to throw unforgettable celebrations, where laughter and joy filled the air.
Sandy's love for her family knew no bounds; she cared for them lovingly and fiercely. Her fiery spirit was matched only by her infectious laughter, genuine and full, a reflection of the warmth and depth of her soul.
Her vibrant spirit will continue to live through her family. Her loss deeply saddens all those who were privileged to have known her.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Eric Williamson, four children: Kailey Williamson, Brittany Methvin, Tabatha Lanoux, and Austin Williamson, as well as 5 grandchildren: Lilith, Caden, Paisley, Scarlett, and Aubrey.
Sandy was blessed to have fostered a 46-year eternal relationship of friendship, love, and marriage with her husband, Eric Williamson, her high school sweetheart whom she reconnected with after years apart. Their enduring bond was a testament to the power of love and commitment, and it brought joy and meaning to Sandy's life until her final moments. To be in the presence of their love was to be in the presence of the truest love, and a rare sight of soulmates.
In recent years, Sandy also made many fond memories and connections with a group of people online through a common interest in 'The Secret Treasure.' What started as a hobby she stumbled upon by chance soon blossomed into a passion and a lifestyle for her. Through this shared pursuit, Sandy found friendship, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging that enriched her life in profound ways.
Sandy's life was beautifully intertwined with the symbol of the Celtic love knot, which not only represented her enduring marriage but also embodied her essence. Like the intricate lines of the knot, Sandy's life was filled with love, friendship, and strength. Just as the knot has no beginning or end, Sandy's spirit and impact on those around her will endure for eternity.
May Sandy rest in everlasting peace and may her memory be a guiding light for all those who loved her.
LOVE'S JOURNEY
Our coming together
Is like beginning a journey-
A journey of unknown destination.
We talk, we smile, we share,
Getting to know each other,
Just beginning our travels.
Where are we headed?
How Long will it take to get there?
Will we encounter detours?
Will they make us closer--or divide us?
Will we complete the journey together, Or will one of us want to part?
Perhaps our trip will never end…
Maybe just traveling together is the Destination…
