Na Na Na Boo Boo... where do I even start? I am the first grandchild and as you would say the most dramatic and wild child (I wear it proud). My favorite memories with you are so hard to choose from. Honestly having YOU as my Nana was a time to be alive! We are all lucky and proud to have you as our family! The biggest thing I am thankful for is how you taught me more about the power of God and prayer than anyone in my entire life.
One memory will forever remain with me. We sat in the hospital and I told you how I thought you were such an inspiration and asked how you continued to fight.... you looked into my eyes with the most confident smile and said "what am I going to do? Quit? NEVER. God brought me this far and I won't stop until he says it is time." I was stunned and just had tears in my eyes. She then said, "Want to know something? Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. We are fighters."
Thank you for all the words of wisdom and sometimes being just a listening ear to my nonsense. I love you so much. Remember you better be at that gate when it's my turn.
I will not say goodbye, see you when I see you. ❤️ 😭
