Sandra, I will never forget all the times that we got together to play Mah Jongg, with the Wright Patterson Air Force rules. You taught us the game back in the late 60s when Dave was stationed there, and we are still playing the game today with our children, and now with our grandkids too, to this day. I still have the same rule books from then. We love you and you will be dearly missed. Please give a hug to Mom, Dad, MaryAnne and Larry for me up there in Heaven. 💕🙏🏻🙏🏻💔

When our Mom (Mary Anne) found out she was dying she wanted to do something special for our Dad (Jim) so she started putting together this beautiful prayer quilt for him. As the days went by Mary Anne prayed with love each and every moment as she worked on the quilt. It came a time when she couldn't work on the quilt anymore as the cancer took over her weakened body. She passed before she could finish the quilt. Auntie Sandy took it upon herself to finish that beautiful quilt with many more prayers and got it to our dad, Jim. As many more years gone by our Dad married a very special lady, Cookie, whom we all love so very much. Jesus could not have found a more wonderful loving person for our Dad. We are ever so grateful for Cookie in our lives. Many many beautiful memories and more to come. As the years went by they gave me that beautiful prayer quilt. Everyday as I make my bed I think of Mom, Dad, Cookie, & Auntie Sandy and say a prayer. I have it with me on my bed and I take it with me when I travel. Thank you Auntie Sandy for such a treasured gift that keeps on giving each and every day. We'll be seeing you... Pax et Bonum... Love, Monzie (Monica VanDrese)📿☺✌
