Sandra Marie Smith, age 72, peacefully passed away after her long battle with cancer in her home to reunite with her husband Leslie Franklin Smith Sr., (Smitty),in Spring Hill, Florida on September 26, 2019.
Born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on May 17, 1947 by Norman and Marie Skillen.
Sandra graduated from Boca Ciega High School in Gulfport, Florida on June 11th, 1965. She also graduated from The Academy of Beauty in Gulfport, Florida in 1965. She married her best friend "Smitty" on February 22, 1969 also in Gulfport Florida and they had three children Denise Marie Smith, 43, Leslie Franklin Smith Jr., 46, and Deborah Ann Tripp, 50. Sandy took pride in her family, by also having a part in the raising of 3 of her 6 grandchildren, being, Miranda Tripp, 21, Tye Lee Hanshew, 15, Ronald Jacob Strickland, 12, and Corbin Smith, 19, and Chaddie Smith, 16. Funeral services will be held at Shady Hills United Methodist Church, Greenglen Lane, Shady Hills, FL, USA, November 10th 2019 at 2 p.m.
