Sandra Regets, 73, of Harrisburg, PA passed away peacefully on August 28, 2022 in the comfort of her home here in Austin, TX surrounded by loved ones. 

Sandra was predeceased by her mother Gloria Piercey, father Joseph Piercey II and brother Joe Piercey III. She is survived by her beloved son, Chris Elder, her three wonderful daughters Lissa Regets, McKenna Regets and Kimmy Regets and her granddaughter Renni Elder. Sandra lived a vivid life, full of miracles! At the age of 7, Sandra shared her first encounter with Jesus. And for 66 more wonderful years, she went on to serve the Lord being a blessing to all those who came to know her. 

After Sandra attended high school she went on to be a flight attendant for United Airlines where she got to travel around the world, immersing herself in new cultures, meeting new people and enjoying the finest cuisines. She retired in 2001, after 33 years of service. In her retirement, she went on to be a dear friend and mother to anyone in need. Neighborhood kids came to know her as Mama Regets, a title Sandra wore so proudly. 

Sandra's love for the Lord was undeniable. In her last years, she spoke of attending Charis Bible College to share her love of the Lord with others. She always said “The greatest gift of all is love in Jesus Christ.” In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sandy Regets Memorial Scholarship in memory of Sandra Regets, a beloved mother, daughter and friend.
