Sandra Lane Casey Pinney, 82, of Woodinville, WA, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2022, with her loving husband by her side.

Sandra, was born on January 14, 1939 to Olive and Thomas Rayburn Casey in Sultan, WA.  After graduating from high school, Sandra moved to Seattle and worked in the medical field.  It was there that Sandra met and fell in love with Robert Pinney, the love of her life.  Sandra and Robert were married for over 62 years and had 3 children, Erin, Gina and Michael.  Sandra was a dedicated mom to all of her children and found immense joy as her role of grandma and great-grandma.  Family came first and was above all else to Sandra, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Sandra was predeceased by parents, Olive and Thomas Rayburn Casey,  sister Noreen Snell (Ed), brothers Edwin Casey (Alverna) and Tom Casey (Gloria).  She is survived by her husband Robert, daughters Erin Mitchell (Michael) and Gina Groen (John) and son Michael. Grandchildren Chelsea Bumgarner (Gary), Brittany Don (Jaap), Brett Richardson (Spencer), Brianna Mitchell (Johnny Janica), Kelsey Dearing and Dylan Pinney.  Great-grandchildren Theodore, Emelise and Josiah Don, Paisley Bumgarner and Edie Richardson.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Sandra’s name to NAACP, American Heart Association, Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.  A Celebration of Life will be held Monday June 13, 2022 at 1pm at GALA Event Center @ Sky Valley Nursery - 18318 SR 203, Monroe, WA 98272
